It’s been a time of change at Hartshorn – Hook Productions recently; a new website, a new office and lots of fantastic projects in the works. 2012 will certainly be a formative year and everyone is looking forward to being a part of it.

Everyone at Hartshorn – Hook Productions is very excited to have secured the stage rights for Eric Whitacre’s spectacular musical Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings (more information on this work can be found here) and look forward to working closely with Eric to make the show a huge success. We are also at the end of a productive and enjoyable research and development week for the Flanagan Collective‘s beautiful boutique musical Some Small Love Story. Having been a huge hit at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, writer Alexander Wright has granted Hartshorn – Hook Productions the exclusive rights to produce a national tour of the show in the UK in 2012. Friday 13th January will see two industry-only performances of the newly revised piece at the Lowry’s Studio 3 and an opportunity to talk to the cast and production team afterwards.
