What are we looking for?

Purpose of Role

Doctor Who Time Fracture are looking for an experienced Head of Video to manage a new spectacular immersive experience in London.


Your main role will be day-to-day management & support of the Video Playback system onsite for the Doctor Who Time Fracture installation

You’ll utilise your proven background and organisational skills to manage and implement multi-output synchronous video playback , being prepared to report back to the business on a regular basis with challenges, innovation and best practice.

Actioning all technical tasks & duties, from switch on/shut down to video content updates when required.  Dealing with incoming site-specific technical enquiries via email and face to face. Managing the follow up and outcomes of onsite technical challenges.

Problem identification, solving and resolution – Further developing technical process from build to delivery stage.

With this autonomous role a self-starter is required; you’ll be proactively supported by the site-based team but this is a critical, key role within our onsite technical delivery team.

Experience of media servers, playback and programming, projectors, projection techniques and general AV would be highly desirable, full onsite training for the playout system will be provided.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven background in Audio Visual: Management / Integration and Delivery

  • Passionate about the AV industry with a proven background in independently managing multi-function Audio Visual environments

  • Basic knowledge of media servers, projection systems and general Audio-Visual workflows.

  • Excellent time keeping skills, well presented and professional manner when dealing with clients & public alike.

  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal. Excellent attention to detail.

  • A team player prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!

What can you expect from the role?


£700 PW (up to 48 hours a week)

Contract Length

6 Months

8th November 2021 – 17th April 2022
